Accessibility

    Our goal

We want Capuchino to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the screen or prefer reduced motion. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

    What we do today

    • Every chart has a text version. Your range is also a sentence, and your pattern is also words and numbers.
    • Color is never the only signal. The green, yellow and red zones are labeled, and answers show ✓ or ✗ with text.
    • The assessment works by keyboard: Y and N to answer, Enter to continue, S to skip.
    • Shared result cards and blog images carry text descriptions, and a blog post can't be published with an image that has none.
    • The whole interface is available in English and Spanish.

    Known gaps

Capuchino is an early-stage project built by a very small team. We design for accessibility as we build, but we haven't yet reviewed every page against WCAG 2.2 AA: color contrast hasn't been measured everywhere, and we haven't tested with screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA. There has been no independent audit. We'll update this page as that changes.

    Tell us

If something doesn't work for you, please email hola@capuchino.co. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We read every message, and an accessibility problem goes to the top of the list.
